Should I install my eSIM before or after landing in Bali?

I'm preparing for my trip to Bali and I'm unsure whether it's better to install my eSIM before I land or to wait until I'm there. Is there any advantage to one method over the other?

It's generally recommended to install your eSIM before you leave home. This way, once you land in Bali, your data plan will activate automatically without delay, ensuring you have immediate access to the internet.

I installed my eSIM right before my flight, and it worked perfectly when I landed! I had no issues, and it saved me a lot of hassle.

I recommend installing it in advance. I forgot to do that once and had to wait until I found Wi-Fi in the airport. It was a pain!

I tried both ways on different trips. Installing before flying is definitely smoother, especially for navigation when you arrive.

I installed mine in the airport after landing since I wasn't sure how to do it beforehand. It worked, but it took longer to activate due to the connection.

In my experience, pre-installation is the way to go. You avoid any potential delays and can immediately start using your phone for directions and communication.

Installing before the trip helps a lot, but make sure you have your QR code handy! You don't want to dig through your emails at the airport.

Always check your device compatibility before you leave. Installing ahead of time minimizes stress when you arrive, especially in a busy airport setting.
